Is anyone interested in doing my survey on MBTI personality types?
I was just thinking it might be interesting to see if we all have wildly different results or really similar, as we've all got creative interests…
So I've made my first ever Google poll!
If you haven't ever done this, you can take the test at: https://www.16personalities.com/
(It's free and open to anyone)
I don't know if I believe this method can fully explain something as complex as human personalities, but it can be interesting. 😁 It might also help us all get to know each other and the ways we learn and create?
What Is This?
Psychological 'type'
The theory of psychological 'type' was introduced in the 1920s by Carl G. Jung.
In the 1940s, Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother, Katharine Briggs, developed a system which made the 'types' more accessible.
Everyone is placed on a spectrum according to their preferences between two extremes - these are:
Introversion (I) - Extroversion (E)
Sensing (S) - Intuition (N)
Thinking (T) - Feeling (F)
Judging (J) - Perceiving (P)
At the end of the questionnaire, you are given four letters, (e.g. ESTP) which corresponds to a 'type' of personality, (e.g. 'The Entrepeneur')
ESTP, 'The Entrepeneur':
"Entrepreneur personalities love to be the center of attention. If an audience member is asked to come on stage, Entrepreneurs volunteer – or volunteer a shy friend."
You can take the test at: https://www.16personalities.com/
My poll again:
And then I found this page which links each personality type to a (visual) artist, which is quite interesting.

It's just an interesting way to look at your own personality and see what you may be drawn towards and how that may affect your work/methods/preferred topics.
I'd also love to see if the group has a majority or lots of similar groups, or if we're just a mish-mash!
The 16personalities is so accurate! Thats mad.
