Inspired by Sarah's post, and similarly my therapy sessions, I want to discuss women's bodies and body types, especially with it getting closer to summer. I'm not particularly good at wording things how I think them in my head but I'm going to have a go haha! I'm personally on the heavier side and have struggled with body image for as long as I can remember, and I'm working towards being more comfortable in my own skin, and I think women as a whole are more comfortable in their own skin, but why are we ridiculed for wearing what we would like? It's getting hotter so people are going to want to wear less. Should we have to be uncomfortable wearing jeans and long sleeves while men walk around topless without a care? I've particularly noticed comments on social media saying plus size women "shouldn't" wear shorts and crop tops because they're not for their body type. If they weren't for our body type they wouldn't have our size! I think about this a lot and more so around summer when I'm most uncomfortable, do you think there will ever be equality with what men and women can wear?
